4:05 pm – Lap 90 OF 90 – CHECKERED FLAG!!! Robby Gordon wins the 2003 Sirius at The Glen!

4:03 pm – Lap 89 OF 90 – WHITE FLAG IS OUT!!! Robby Gordon is in control with 2 laps to go. Jeff Gordon was in 3rd but has run out of gas in last last lap.

4:01 pm – Lap 88 OF 90 – 2 LAPS TO GO!!! Robby Gordon is in control with 2 laps to go.

3:48 pm – Lap 78 OF 90 – 12 LAPS TO GO!!! Race Restarted after 6th caution. Gordon narrowly holds the lead over Scott Pruett.

3:44 pm – Lap 71 OF 90 Another Yellow Flag. 6th of the race. Todd Bodine of Chemung County went into the gravel. We’re coming down to the stretch after the restart. Robby Gordon had a 5 car lead before the yellow.

3:41 pm – Lap 70 OF 90 Race Notes: There have been 8 lead changes, 8 different leaders and 12 laps under caution so far.

3:27 pm – Lap 60 OF 90 Robby Gordon is the new race leader.

3:06 pm – Lap 52 OF 90 Another Yellow Flag. The 5th of the day.

2:56 pm – Lap 45 OF 90 Back under green after the 4th caution of the race. Dale Earnhardt Jr. now leads.

2:49 pm – Lap 41 OF 90 Tony Raines and Terry Labonte have crashed on the straightaway and we’re under the 4th caution of the race. Dale Earnhardt Jr. now leads.

2:41 pm – Lap 37 OF 90 Back under green.

2:35 pm – Lap 35 OF 90 Christian Fittepaldi has crashed in the NY Yankee car to sendthe race under the third yellow flag of the afternoon. Jeff Burton now leads.

2:21 pm – Lap 25 OF 90 The second caution flag has been lifted and they’re under green again at The Glen. Scott Pruet is now leading after not pitting and Jeff Gordon continues to fight his way through the field at about one car per lap after his first lap mishap which sent him to the back of the field. (P.J. Jones also did not pit and is running in 2nd. All other cars took the pit during the second caution)

2:14 pm – Lap 23 OF 90 As Kevin Harvick left pit row he had a brake fire which ignited the spilled fuel. They went under the second caution and pit row was closed while the fire was extinguised. Nobody was injured.

1:42 pm – Lap 1 OF 90 Pole sitter Jeff Gordon was bumped from behind just seconds after the green flag dropped and dropped from first to last as the entire field passed the 4 time Watkins Glen champ. He regained control and caught the field after a first lap yellow flag.
