Ratdog Coming Back to Upstate NY

Legendary rock and roll guitarist Bob Weir brings his solo jam band-Ratdog back to Upstate New York for three shows next month. Weir, a founding member of the Grateful Dead, will play theaters in Rochester, Syracuse and Albany. Ratdog last played two shows in Upstate New York last fall; one a three-hour concert at Geneva’s historic Smith Opera House, that included new originals, traditional standards and Grateful Dead songs that are fairly obscure to the general public, but revered as Holy Scripture by Deadheads. The current band line up includes vocalist/guitarist Weir, drummer Jay Lane, keyboardist Jeff Chimenti, guitarist Mark Karan, saxophonist Kenny Brooks, and bassist Robin Sylvester. Ratdog will play live March 19th at the Rochester Auditorium Theater, March 20th at the Landmark Theater in Syracuse and March 21st at the Palace Theater in Albany. Tickets for all the shows can be purchased at www.ticketmaster.com. The concerts are produced by Metropolitan Talent Presents, LLC.
