Republicans “No Show” At Seneca Falls Candidate’s Forum

It’s going to be a one-sided political discussion tonight in Seneca Falls. Seneca Falls Republicans will not attend tonight’s Geneva League of Women Voters sponsored candidates forum.Seneca Falls Town Republican Chairman-Dominick Paradise says none of the Republican candidates will attend the event to be held at the Seneca Falls Community Center. Paradise says Republican mayoral candidate, James Terryberry will spend the time going door-to-door meeting with village residents. Republican candidate for the 3rd ward trustee seat Tony Petroccia says he has to attend a meeting tonight in Rochester and that he is focused on door-to-door campaigning, and another mailing before the March 16th election.Sylvester “Tut” Campese and incumbent Republican Mayor Tony Costantino could not be reached for comment.Democratic candidates Diana Smith, Janet Enos, and Louis Lorenzetti have agreed to speak at tonight’s forum.WEOS 89.FM and 90.3FM will broadcast the event live beginning at 7pm.
