Lake to Lake Sports Car Ramble Returns

Sports car drivers, start your engines and get registered for the annual Lake to Lake Sports Car Ramble on Friday, June 6. The event is held in conjunction with the 27th Running of Sahlen’s Six Hours of The Glen, June 6-8, at Watkins Glen International. The Lake to Lake Sports Car Ramble is organized by the same group of volunteers that organize the road rallies that take place annually during the Grand Prix Festival held each September. The volunteers are comprised of a group of individuals under the umbrella of the Schuyler County Chamber of Commerce and Watkins Glen Promotions.Up to 75 sports cars can be hosted for the Ramble sponsored by Watkins Glen International. The Ramble begins at historic Watkins Glen International with three parade laps around the 3.4 mile road course. The rallye covers a scenic route amidst the hills and valleys of Finger Lakes Wine Country, finishing back at the track complete with dinner for two (per/car) at the Track’s exclusive Tower Suites. For an only $100 per car registration fee, drivers will also receive a commemorative dash plaque, a tour around the original 6.6-mile road course used from 1948 – 1952 in the Village of Watkins Glen, two weekend general admission tickets for the Sahlen’s Six Hours of The Glen event weekend at Watkins Glen International and parking in a special “corral” while at the track. Lake to Lake Sports Car Ramble entrants will enjoy a full schedule of four races throughout the weekend including the NASCAR Camping World Series East Division, the Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series, the SCCA World Challenge GT and TC series, and the Star Mazda Championship Series.
