Cayuga Co. Clerk offering passports Thursday

Cayuga County Clerk Sue Dwyer will be hosting a booth at MARKET CAYUGA at the Holiday Inn on Thursday, November 13 from 9 a.m.- 3 p.m. The first ten people to apply for a passport that day will receive free photos! Dwyer is participating in the Chamber of Commerce Business Expo that day.In addition to processing passports, our new Dept. of Motor Vehicles Supervisor, Shereen Androsko will be on hand to answer questions about the new Enhanced Drivers Licenses.“The new passport requirement date (June, 2009) is quickly approaching and I want to make it as convenient as possible for anyone who needs a passport to get one prior to the deadline. Anyone planning a trip this winter or in the spring is urged to apply for their passport as soon as possible.” You can download passport applications at www.travel.state.govor pick up an application at the Cayuga County Clerks office @ 160 Genesee Street in Auburn.
