When built, the project will produce a total of 29 units, offering a variety of five unit types. Twenty one of the units will display a direct and unobstructed view of beautiful Seneca Lake. Occupants of each unit will share lakefront access, maintained by a community HOA. Situated in the village of Watkins Glen, Seneca Harbor Place is projected to be the only townhouse community of its kind that offers its residents lakefront living while enjoying many local attractions within walking distance. The three units being offered as part of phase one include The Avalon, The Barclay, and The Claremont. Each of these 3 bedroom 2 ½ bath units feature a main level master suite, a chef’s kitchen, covered patio and a one car garage. Each unit also includes a boat dock for owners as well as a community dock for swimming and lake access. The Home Owners Association will maintain the grounds, trash pick-up, and snow removal making this development perfect for young professionals, empty nesters and seasonal visitors to the area.Vicki Schamel, Associate Broker with Prudential Ambrose & Shoemaker Real Estate, is poised and ready to “walk” interested buyers through the project, amenities, and upgrades available. Phase One will include 11 units and is slated for completion mid to late fall, phase two will begin in 2010. “I’m delighted to be a part of this exciting project that, like the Harbor Hotel project, further invests in the Watkins Glen and lake front community. “Vicki further went on to say that “this development will meet a need for people that desire carefree lakefront living in the Finger Lakes. This is an opportunity to own a townhome in a park-like setting right on the water.”This Finger Lakes community is set in the heart of wine country in Schuyler County. It is an area with beautiful vistas and full of historic character. Modern medical facilities, places of worship, and recreational facilities are all close at hand. The cities of Elmira, Ithaca and Corning are all within a 30 minute drive and include an increasing number of arts andcultural centers.
