Casella to run for Canandaigua Town Supervisor

Sam Casella, today, is announcing his decision to run for Canandaigua Town and County Supervisor this November. In coming to his decision, Casella states, “This is my home town and I care where it is heading, and to that end, I have remained involved in our community, Ontario County and the greater Finger Lakes region.”Casella makes note of the considerable numbers of local residents who have expressed their dismay and even anger over the way the Town of Canandaigua has been conducting business. Casella concurs that government cannot function successfully under the present duress. Casella adds that, “After reflecting on the numerous conversations, calls to my home and personal visits to my farm, I have concluded that there is, indeed, significant interest in my getting back into the town government.Casella intends to seek the Democratic Party ballot line, as well as his own independent party line, the “No Bull Party” on which he has run in several past elections.Casella says he believes strongly that regardless of any elective outcome, restoring confidence in our town government is crucial. Casella said, “With so much at stake in the future of Canandaigua, experienced leadership is essential, and it would be a privilege to once again provide that leadership. I will be taking every opportunity to discuss my candidacy in further detail.”
