Seneca Falls Police Beat 4/30/09

On 04/29/2009 at approx. 9:18 AM Seneca Falls Police arrested Antonio Ramos, age 66 from 25 Peterman Road Apt. C-3 Seneca Falls, NY for Failure to Change Address, a class E Felony under the New York State Corrections Law. The arrest stems from an investigation that started on May 15th, 2009 when the Seneca Falls Police Department was contacted by the Seneca County Sheriffs Office stating that an Investigator went to Ramos’ last known address to the Seneca County Sheriffs Department and the Derpartment of Criminal Justice Services, which was 3053 Seneca Blvd. Waterloo, NY and found that Ramos no longer lived at this address. Further investigation showed that Ramos may be residing at 140 Genesee Street in the City of Geneva. Further investigation by Geneva Police Department showed that Ramos did not reside at this location and may be residing somewhere at Hunter Run Townhomes located at 25 Peterman Road in Seneca Falls. Upon receiving this information Seneca Falls Policeresponded to Hunter Run Townhomes where Ramos was found to be residing in apartment C-3 since November of 2007. Ramos was arraigned in the Seneca Falls Town Court in front of Judge Mahoney and committed to the Seneca County Correctional Facility on $5,000 cash or $10,000 Ins. Bond. A Felony Hearing is schedualed for Ramos on May 4th, 2009 at 10:00 AM. Ramos has been a registered sex offender since February of 1996. Ramos arrest was a joint corroboration between the Seneca Falls Police Department; Geneva Police Department; and the Seneca County Sheriffs Department. On 04/29/09 at approx. 11:08 am Seneca Falls Police Arrested Austin R. Deal age 21 from 55 West Bayard Street Apt. 22 Seneca Falls, NY for Violation of Probation. The Violation stems from Deal being in a local bar consuming alcoholic beverages while on probation. Deal was arrainged in the Town of Seneca Falls Court and committed to the SCCF on no bail. Deal is to re-appear in the Town of Seneca Falls Court on 05/08/09 at 0900hrs. On 04/29/09 at approx. 8:42 a.m. the Seneca Falls Police Department arrested Mark J. Kozemko, age 51, of 4112 Squaw Point Rd, Dundee, NY 14837 for Criminal Contempt 2nd. Kozemko is accused of having contact with a village resident with whom he has a stay-away order of protection against. He was arraigned before Judge Mahoney in Seneca Falls Town Court and committed to the SCCF on $5000 Cash/10,000 Bond and has to re-appear in court on 05/13/09 at 9:00 a.m.
