U-turn causes crash in Waterloo this morning

Waterloo Village Police Dept. investigated a two car PIMVA on East Main St., in the Village of Waterloo on Wednesday morning. Jason Ward, age 23, of 216 E. Elisha St., Waterloo, was travelling west on E. Main St. in the passing lane. A vehicle being operated by Colette Campbell, age 24, of 300 Audubon Rd. A59, Syracuse, was parked on the north shoulder of E. Main St. Campbell entered the roadway attempting to make a u-turn, and struck the Ward vehicle. Ward complained of neck pain, and stated he would seek medical attention on his own. The vehicles received minor damage and were driven from the scene. Campbell was issued a traffic ticket for failing to yield the right of way entering roadway.
