5 Seneca minors arrested for drinking in car

On October 13, 2011 at approx. 9:37 PM, Seneca Falls Police arrested Alyssa H. McDonald, age 20 of 112 East Elisha Street Waterloo, NY. for Unlawful Possession of Alcohol Under The Age of Twenty One and Consumption of Alcohol in a Motor Vehicle on a Highway. Seneca Falls Police report a marked patrol vehicle was driving behind a vehicle on Bridge Street when an Officer observed a passenger in the vehicle throw an empty pack of cigarettes out the window. The pack of cigarettes bounced off the road and then struck the front bumper of the officers patrol vehicle. Police then stopped the vehicle and found McDonald to be the driver. Further police investigation found that McDonald along with four minors that were also in the vehicle during the traffic stop were in possession of alcohol and the four minors were also impaired by alcohol. The three sixteen year old females and one eighteen year old female passengers were charged with Unlawful Possession of Alcohol Under the Age of TwentyOne and Consumption of Alcohol in a Motor Vehicle on a Highway. During the police investigation it was learned that the one 18 year old female passenger brought the alcohol into the vehicle. This eighteen year old female was additionally charged with Unlawfully Dealing with a Minor. McDonald and the four minors were transported back to the police station where they were then released on UTT’s and Appearance Tickets to their parents. All subjects have to appear at the Town of Seneca Falls Court on October 27, 2011 at 10:00 AM. The names of the the sixteen year olds and one eighteen year old is being held due to their age.
