Festival of Weaths in Seneca Falls

Twenty-four beautiful Christmas Wreaths will be raffled Thursday evening to benefit The House of Concern in Seneca Falls. Some wreaths donated by local business owners, are decorated with It’s A Wonderful Life Collector cards, lottery tickets, or small liqueur bottles, while others are decorated with tools, flowers, and gift certificates, Jewelry and much more. Also to be raffled is the “$500 Cash Tree” donated by The Seneca Falls Savings Bank.The raffle drawing is the highlight of the Festival of Wreaths Open House, which will be held this Thursday, December 15 from 5:30-7:30 PM at the Seneca Falls Visitor Center & Museum of Waterways and Industry, 89 Fall Street. Sponsored by the Seneca Falls Business Association, the event is free and the public is encouraged to attend. In addition to finding out who won the wreaths and money tree, guests may enjoy appetizers, local wines, and the smooth jazz sounds of Rick Hoyt and the Jazz Guys. Donations of money or nonperishable foods for the House of Concern will be accepted.Even if you cannot attend the Open House, you may purchase raffle tickets up until the event by visiting the museum where they are on display.
