Lyons man charged with striking SF woman

On 01-15-2012 at approx 7:47 am, SFPD arrested Christopher J. Freeman age 24 of 83 Canal St Lyons, NY for Criminal Trespass 2nd, Endangering the Welfare of a Child 2 counts and Harassment 2nd. The charges stem from a Domestic Dispute that occurred in the Town of Seneca Falls. Freeman is accused of entering a home and striking a female resident while in the presence of two young children ages 4 months and 8 years old. Female sustained minor cuts and scrapes and refused medical treatment. Children were unharmed. Freeman was arraigned in Town of Seneca Falls Court Judge Laird and during said arraignment Freeman became belligerent and unruly. Freeman was then charged with Contempt of Court and committed to the Seneca County Correctional Facility for 30 days. Freeman was remanded to the Seneca County Correctional Facility on $5000 cash bail/ $10000 ins bond on the other charges and is to reappear in the Town of Seneca Falls Court on 01-25-2012 at 0900hrs.
