Two arrested for crack possession in Waterloo

The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division arrested two people following a traffic stop in the Village of Waterloo. Carol E. Gleason, 49, of 123 East Main Street, Waterloo, New York, and James B. Curry, 40, of 7463 Route 96 Room 130, Victor, New York, were both charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the seventh degree. It is alleged that they were both in possession of a quantity of crack cocaine that was located in the vehicle. Gleason was additionally charged with Violation of Probation, Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs, and Failure to Stop at a Stop Sign.Curry was arraigned in the Waterloo Village Court and remanded to the Seneca County Correctional Facility on $5,000 cash bail/$10,000 secured bond. Curry is to reappear in the Waterloo Village Court on February 15, 2012 at 9am to answer the charge.Gleason was also arraigned in the Waterloo Village Court and remanded to the Seneca County Correctional Facility on no bail. Gleason is to appear in the Seneca Falls Town Court on January 25, 2012 at 9am to answer the violation of probation charge. Gleason is to reappear in the Waterloo Village Court on February 15, 2012 at 9am to answer the other charges.The Waterloo Police Department and the Seneca County Probation Department assisted in the investigation.
