Seneca Falls Police Beat for 1/26

On 01.25.2012 @ 11:55 PM, Seneca Falls Police arrested Dana L. Burpee, age 21 of 1522 Meadowbrook Lane Farmington, NY 14425. Burpee was arrested on a warrant out of Seneca Falls Town Court for failure to pay a fine. The original charge was permitting unlicensed operation. Arraignment was in Seneca Falls Town Court before the Honorable B. J. Laird acting Town Justice. Burpee was committed to the Seneca County Correctional Facility on $250.00 cash bail or $500.00 secure bond. A return date of 02.08.2012 @ 1000 hours was scheduled for Seneca Falls Town Court. The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office assisted on this arrest.On 01.25.2012 @ 10:20 PM, Seneca Falls Police Police arrested the following two subjects, Megan Draheim, age 26 of 473 Hamilton Street #106 Geneva, NY 14456 and Seandel L. Greenaway, age 23 of the same address. The arrest stems from a larceny complaint at the Seneca Falls Wal-Mart Supercenter. Draheim was charged with petit larceny, criminal possession of stolen property fifth degree, and criminal impersonation second degree. Greenaway was charged with petit larceny and criminal possession of stolen property in the fifth degree. It was alleged that the two had stolen / were in possession of $64.80 worth of merchandise from the business.During the investigation Draheim used another name when police attempted to identify her. Both were arraigned before acting Seneca Falls Town Court Justice B.J. Laird. Draheim was ROR’d to a third party – The New York State Police. Greenaway was committed to the Seneca County Correctional Facility on $750.00 cash bail / $1500.00 secure bond. Both areto appear in Seneca Falls Town Court on 02.08.2012 to further answer the charges. On 1/22/2012 at about 6:27 PM, Seneca Falls Police arrested Derrick O. Taylor, age 43 of 26 Chapin Street lot 34, Seneca Falls, NY. Taylor was charged with Criminal Contempt 2nd for disobeying a valid Order of Protection. Taylor was arraigned in the Village of Waterloo Court in front of the honorable Judge Mattoon and was remanded to the Seneca County Correctional Facility in lieu of $1500 cash bail or $3000 insured bond. He is scheduled to appear in the Town of Seneca Falls Court on 02/22/2012 at 9AM.On 1/22/2012 at about 7:45 PM, Seneca Falls Police arrested a 15 year old female for Petit Larceny. The charge stems from a complaint that money had been taken out of a wallet in the Seaway plaza in Seneca Falls. Police learned that the 15 year old female was responsible for the petit larceny and she was issued an appearance ticket and released to her father. She is scheduled to appear in Family Court on 1/27/2012 at 10 AM. On 1/22/2012 at about 9:10 PM, Seneca Falls Police arrested Benito V. Guzman Jr. age 33 of 25 Peterman Road B-1, Seneca Falls, NY. Guzman held an active arrest warrant for Failure to Appear in the Seneca County Court. Guzman was transported back to the Seneca Falls Police Dept. where Guzman was turned over to Seneca County Corrections to await for the next available County Court date.
