Geneva teen arrested on narcotics trafficking

The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division arrested Dylan C. Slack, 19, of 518 Yale Station Road, Geneva, New York on numerous charges following an investigation into alleged drug trafficking.On February 28, 2012, members of the Narcotics Division, Criminal Investigation Division, Uniform Road Patrol, New York State Police Community Narcotics Enforcement Team, and Seneca County Probation executed a search warrant at Slack’s residence. Upon the execution of the search warrant, quantities of methamphetamine, oxycodone, and clonazepam were located and seized. It is alleged that Slack possessed the methamphetamine and clonazepam with the inten t to sell it. Other items seized during the search warrant execution included an amount of United States currency, plastic baggies commonly used in the packaging and trafficking of illicit drugs, scales, hypodermic needles, fireworks, and a small amount of marihuana. It is also alleged that Slack possessed the illicit drugs while living with a child and had sold illicit drugs on two separate occasions.Slack was charged with one count of Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the third degree, a Class B Felony, one count of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the third degree, a Class B Felony, one count of Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the fourth degree, a Class C Felony, two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the fift h degree, Class D Felonies, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the seventh degree, a Class A Misdemeanor, and Unlawfully Dealing with a Child in the first degree, a Class A Misdemeanor. Slack was arraigned in the Fayette Town Court and remanded to the Seneca County Correctional Facility on $7,500 cash bail/$15,000 secured bond. Slack is to reappear in the Fayette Town Court on March 2, 2012 at 8am.
