New sign for Cayuga Scenic Byway

The Cayuga Lake Scenic Byway Inc. is hosting an event to unveil the newly installed Along the Byway Sign, at the Montezuma Winery. The sign is the first in the Byway’s Interpretive Signage program, which will install a series of informational signs in communities along the Byway. These signs will give travelers along the byway a greater understanding and appreciation of the resources available. They will highlight the history, natural resources, and cultural offerings that the Cayuga Lake Scenic Byway works to promote and preserve. This portion of the project was funded in part by Seneca County. The Cayuga Lake Scenic Byway Inc. is a 501 c3 organization that works to support, enhance and promote the unique nature of the Cayuga Lake Scenic Byway Route. The Corporation works to encourage sustainable economic growth along the Byway and surrounding areas by encouraging and supporting tourism through improvements in services, promotion, resource management and stewardship of the Byway corridor.
