Early College 78, Red Jacket 46 Yesterday in Section V boy’s basketball action Early College (5-9) topped Red Jacket (5-8) 78-46. Early College’s Arie Buckhalter had a 25-point game while Anthony Monroe tacked on another 23 points including seven three-point shots. Red Jacket’s Mike Giaconia had an eight-point game that included 11 rebounds and seven blocks while Garrett Jannsen shot for 13 total points in the loss. Honeoye 63, HAC 45 Yesterday in Section V boy’s basketball action HAC (2-13) fell to Honeoye (11-4) 63-45. Honeoye’s Jon Connell had an eight-point game with seven rebounds and Justin Soliday shot for 12 points with six blocks. Their teammate Ben Cratsley led all scoring with 29 total points and had eight assists. HAC’s Jamir Avery had a 19-point game and Eric Tolhurst shot for 12 in the loss. Naples 72, Romulus-South Seneca 33 Romulus-South Seneca (0-12) is still looking for their first win of the season as they continued their 12-consecutive game losing streak yesterday as Naples (11-2) topped the, 72-33. Naples’ Jake Ball and C.J. Kobus each shot for 13 points in the win while Adrian Black added 12. Romulus-South Seneca’s Alex Porter added nine points in the loss. Lyons 78, Red Creek 43 Yesterday in Section V boy’s basketball action Lyons (12-1) beat Red Creek (2-14) 78-43. Tre’ Johnson and Alex Musolino of Lyons each had a 12-point game while teammate Devan Veeder shot for 11. Red Creek’s Jacob Slobe led all scoring with 21 total points, 11 of which came in the fourth quarter. Gananda 64, Sodus 18 Gananda (8-7) topped Sodus (0-14) 64-18 yesterday in boys Section V basketball action. Gananda’s Kolby Bean had a 12-point game. North Rose-Wolcott 43, Williamson 42 North Rose-Wolcott (6-7) edged Williamson (7-9) 43-42 yesterday in Section V boy’s basketball action. North Rose-Wolcott’s Chris Dean led all scoring with 19 total points that included five three-point shots. Dean also had16 rebounds in the win. Williamson’s Tom Stephens and Stevie Thomson each had a 15-point game.
