Geneva woman hospitalized after knife assault

On Wednesday at about 10:30 pm Geneva police officers responded to Central & Hogarth Avenue for a report of an assault with a knife. A 27 year old female received serious physical injuries to her face/cheek & stomach as a result of the knife assault.Upon Arrival it was learned that the suspects had fled in a red Chevrolet with Massachusetts plates and were later stopped getting off the Thruway at the Manchester Exit by Ontario County Sheriffs & New York State Police where they were taken into custody.Detectives of the Geneva Police Department, continue their investigation this morning.All subjects involved with the assault are in custody.
