Mynderse names Valedictorian & Salutatorian

Brandon Passalacqua has been named Valedictorian for the Class of 2013. Breanna Myers has been named Salutatorian for the Class of 2013.Brandon Passalacqua son of Shelly Passalacqua and Earl Lorder, has been accepted at The University of Rochester and will pursue a course of study in the area of Accounting or Finance.His academic achievements include successful completion of Advanced Placement courses that include Physics, United States History & Government, Calculus and English Literature. He is also currently enrolled in College Spanish. Brandon has been a High Honor Roll student throughout his high school career. His co-curricular and extracurricular activities include: National Honor Society (President), Student of the Month (9, 10, 11), NYS Scholar Athlete (11), Class Officer (President-4 years), Student Council Member (9, 10, 11, 12/President), Boys’ State Delegate, Junior Rotarian, Varsity Football (4 years-Captain), Varsity Basketball, (9, 10, 11-Captain, 12-Captain), Varsity Tennis, Varsity Track & Field, JV/Varsity Volleyball and JV/Varsity Wrestling. His community involvement/activities include: Working at the Summer Playground Program for the SF Parks & Recreation, Work with the SF Parks & Recreation and Mynderse Academy “Little Dribblers” Basketball Program, Coach for the Grades 1-5 Basketball Program, worked at Wilson Press and Bull’s Run Restaurant, a Referee at the SF Community Center, attended CPR and First-Aid Training and helped with an event called “Cork & Fork”. Breanna will be pursuing a course of study in the area of Biomedical Engineering.Her academic achievements include successful completion of Advanced Placement courses that include: Biology, Physics, Calculus, and English Literature. She is also currently enrolled in College Spanish. Breanna has been a High Honor Roll student throughout her high school career.
