W’loo woman charged w/ endangering welfare of child

Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of Rebecca L. VanNorman age 42 of Wagner St. in Waterloo.VanNorman was charged with one count of Endangering the Welfare of a Child following an investigation of an incident on April 16th where it is alleged that VanNorman while in an intoxicated state engaged in a verbal and physical altercation while in the presence of a 15 year old female.VanNorman was taken into custody on April 17th, 2013 and appeared in the Village of Waterloo Court for an arraignment on the charge.During the arraignment VanNorman was remanded to the Seneca County Correctional Facility in lieu of $750.00 cash bail or $1,500.00 secured bond and is scheduled to re-appear in court on May 1st 2013 to answer the charge.
