No one hurt in Route 96A crash

On 05/16/2013 at about 04:56 pm, Seneca County Sheriff Deputies responded to the intersection of State Route 96 and Shannon Dr for a personal injury motor vehicle accident.A 2011 Chevrolet Silverado operated by Joseph G. Stevens (43) of Waterloo was southbound on 96 when he attempted to make a U-turn at the above intersection and failed to observe a 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee also traveling southbound operated by Bridget L. Perrine (33) of State Route 96A in Geneva.Stevens began to pull onto Shannon Dr and cut back onto 96 to make the U-turn and collided with Perrines vehicle.A passenger Chelsey M. Bussey (11) also of State Route 96A was uninjured. Perrine complained of minor pain and was transported by Finger Lakes Ambulance to Newark Hospital for a checkover. Waterloo Fire Department responded to assist. Stevens was uninjured in the incident and cited for moving from lane unsafely.
