Seneca Falls Police Beat for 5/28

SFPD arrested James W. Rogers, age 43, of 119 E. Elisha Street, Waterloo, NY on Monday May 27th, 2013 at about 2pm for Criminal Tampering in the 3rd Degree. During the course of an investigation into an April 28th theft at a River Rd business it was determined that Rogers covered the business’ video surviellance camera to conceal detection. Rogers was released on an appearance ticket and is to appear in Seneca Falls Town Court on June 13th, 2013 to answer the charge.On May 25th, 2013 at 3:20am Seneca Falls Police arrested Laquitta S. Jones, age 22, of 18 Churchlea Place, Rochester New York for Driving While Intoxicated, Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated, and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana. This arrest resulted from a complaint of a car in the ditch on Thorpe Road in the Town of Seneca Falls. Jones was arraigned in Fayette Town Court where she was committed to the Seneca County Correctional Facility in lieu of $750.00 cash bail, $1500.00 insurance bond. Jones is to appear in Seneca Falls Town Court on June 12th 2013, at 10:00am for her next hearing.On May 25th, 2013 at 11:45pm Seneca Falls Police arrested Anthony L. Davis, age 31 for Criminal Contempt 2nd. This arrest resulted from a complaint in which Davis is alleged to have violated a court order at an address in Seneca Falls. Davis was arraigned in the Tyre Town Court where he was committed to the Seneca County Correctional Facility in lieu of $1000.00 cash bail, $2000.00 insurance bond. Davis is to appear in Seneca Falls Town Court on May 30th, 2013 at 10:00am for his next hearing. On the 24th of May 2013, the Seneca Falls Police Department arrested Lucas M. Fegley, age 33, of 5 Montgomery St, Seneca Falls NY, on 2 counts of Felony Driving While Intoxicated. The arrest stems from a Domestic incident that occurred at a residence on Montgomery St in the Town of Seneca Falls around 2:45am. When officers arrived at the residence they were informed that Fegleys vehicle had fled the scene. Officer located Fegleys vehicle traveling East on State Route 5/20. Police initiated a traffic stop and found Fegley to be operating his vehicle in a intoxicated condition. Fegley was previously convicted of Driving While intoxicated in February 2009. Fegley was arraigned at the Town of Tyre Court and was ROR’d and is to re-appear in the Town of Tyre Court on the 28th of May 2013 at 5:00pm. Fegley was issued uniformed traffic tickets for Felony DWI, Felony Operating with a BAC of .08% or Higher and Unsafe Turn/ No signal.
