Lodi man arrested on numerous charges

On Tuesday, the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office concluded an investigation that began on September 25th involving William J. Irwin IV, age 36, of Halsey Lane in Lodi. An investigation began when a female victim reported that she had been held against her will, choked, and repeatedly threatened by Irwin. Following this investigation, Sheriff’s Deputies stopped Irwin at a Town of Ovid business and he was found to be driving on a suspended driver’s license and driving while intoxicated.Irwin was taken into custody and arrested on charges of Unlawful Imprisonment in the first degree, Menacing in the second degree, Criminal Obstruction of Breathing or Blood Circulation, Driving While Intoxicated, Driving with .08% or more of alcohol, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the third degree, and Consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle.Irwin was arraigned on the charges in the Lodi Town Court and remanded to the Seneca County Correctional Facility on $11,000 cash bail/$22,000 secured bond.
