Geneva heroin dealer raided, four kids home

On Tuesday evening at about 9:00 pm, members of the Geneva Police Department Drug Enforcement Unit conducted a Narcotics Search Warrant at 44 John Street in the city. Two suspects were taken into custody after an amount of heroin, currency and packaging materials were seized.At the time the search warrant was executed, four children aged 3 – 11 years-old were present in the house.Geneva Heroin Arrest - October 1, 2013The arrests and warrant were a result of a several month long investigation into the sale and distribution of heroin in the City of Geneva. Additional charges are pending.Arrested were:Vincent Estrada Jr., age 35 of John Street, Geneva. He was charged with Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree, a Class B Felony. Estrada Jr. is being held with bail set at $25,000 cash or $50,000 bond.Arlene I. Gonzalez, age 32 of John Street in Geneva. Gonzalex is charged with Criminal Nuisance in the First Degree, a Class E Felony. She is being held with bail set at $5,000 cash or $10,000 bond.The arrests are a result of a several month long investigation.
