Ribbon-cutting Thursday for New Beginnings Boutique

The Seneca County Chamber of Commerce has announced that it will be co-hosting a relocation ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the growth and expansion for New Beginnings Boutique, a gently used consignment shop owned and operated by the Seneca County House of Concern. Now located at 103 Fall Street in Seneca Falls, the event will take place on Thursday, May 22. A short presentation will take place at 4:30 pm with comments from officials, photos and light refreshments. Less than one year ago New Beginnings opened its doors in July of 2013 in its original location in downtown Seneca Falls. Outgrowing that space, the new larger property is located just down the street, offering nearly three times the amount of space for expanded displays and merchandise. The sales generated by the Boutique provide funds to help stock the shelves for the House of Concern’s food pantry. The Seneca County House of Concern is a local non-profit organization established in 1969, and specializes in securing and providing food support, clothing, furniture and household items to those in need, while assisting with other direct services such as providing advocacy for individuals.
