Seneca County Ca$h Mob coming up Wednesday

The Seneca County Chamber of Commerce has announced thatit will host a community Ca$h Mob on Wednesday, July 16th from 3:30 5:30pm. The concept of a Ca$h Mob includes hosting a scheduled mass meetingof people that gather to visit a small local business on the same day, at aset time, to make purchases — while patronizing the local establishment anddriving local sales. The Chambers previous Cash Mobs resulted in more than100 shoppers to local retailers such as Sauders Country Store, NugentsRudolph & Co. and to Dave & Ritas Farm Market & Bakery.The Chamber does not officially announce the location of the Cash Mob untilthe weekend before the event. The only information that is provided inadvance is the date and time. Leading up to the event, several hints thatdescribe details about the mystery location are provided via social mediaand internet.We are constantly working to support the areas Buy Local Campaign. FromCork & Fork to Ca$h Mobs, the Chamber works at keeping spending dollars andlocal businesses in Seneca County. Its great to see the entire SCCCcommunity gather to show that support all at once stated CassandraHarrington, the Chamber Member Services Coordinator.The Chamber encourages the local community to attend the event on Wednesday,July 16th and be prepared to make a small purchase (under $20). Communitymembers will also have the opportunity to network with others and seefirsthand, how a local business will benefit from the immediate economicstimulus.
