Red Jacket shocks C-S in Clyde, 55-6

One of the most competitive rivalries in Wayne-Finger Lakes football over the past two seasons has been between Clyde-Savannah and Red Jacket. The rivalry was renewed to open the season on Friday night in Clyde but the Golden Eagles were out classed from the start, losing 55-6.Red Jacket racked up 356 yards on the ground, 117 from Sean Sheets and 103 for Kory Fogarty. Andrew Ogrodowski ran for a touchdown and returned an interception for another score. Grant Gerlock was everywhere for the Red Jacket defense bringing down 11 Clyde-Savannah ball carriers on the night.Red Jackets opens their campaign at 1-0 while C-S drops to 0-1.Clyde-Savannah will try to get things on track next Friday night when they travel to Gorham to face Marcus Whitman who lost to Mynderse in Seneca Falls last night.Red Jacket will host South Seneca next Saturday afternoon.
