Volunteers for Cemetery Work Party

The Founders Square Neighborhood Association is seeking volunteers to contribute to beautification of the Washington Street Cemetery and to act as docents (guides) for the Ghost Walk during the From Beyond…Washington Street Cemetery Stories performance. The work party will take place this Saturday, starting at 9 a.m., at Washington Street Cemetery. Volunteers are needed to reset and clean headstones along with general clean-up. Please bring work gloves and a shovel if you have them available, and dress for fall weather. Please contact Marty Davis at Marty@genevanrc.org for more information. Docents are also needed to help guide patrons through the Ghost Walk on October 3rd from 6-8 pm, and on October 4th from 2-4 pm. A dress rehearsal will take place on October 2nd, in the evening, starting Presbyterian Church at the corner of Washington Street and Park Place.
