Another stellar autumn week ahead in the FLX

The same disturbances that brought some periods of clouds to the region yesterday are still around this morning, bringing more clouds. These clouds actually kept the temperatures a bit warmer overnight compared to our recent, clear nights. This should help our temperatures well into the 70s once again today. The other reason we will still be quite warm today is that the clouds will be departing the region this morning. Clear skies will overspread the Finger Lakes from west to east this morning, and by the afternoon, most areas should see plenty of sunshine, making for another great day.Tuesday will be a little less nice, with some clouds and an isolated shower possible as a decaying cold front moves into the area. Most areas will probably not see rain tomorrow, and the air associated with this front will not be too much different, with highs near or above 70º Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Our nice weather will come to an end after a more potent cold front comes through late Friday. Highs will likely be in the 50s early next week behind this front. For the latest local forecast, conditions, and live radar images visit the FingerLakes1.com Local Weather Center.
