Tammy Brockway Benefit Saturday

It promises to be an evening filled with laughter, food and good things. The benefit for Tammy Brockway is on Saturday, October 18, and everyone is getting in on the fun.Brockway, popular disc jockey, limousine driver, extreme couponer and all around good spirit, suffered a stroke last month. Although she has made remarkable progress on her road to recovery, she has a long and difficult road ahead of her.So her family and friends are holding a ziti dinner to help her along. The event will be from 5-8 p.m. at the Finger Lakes Family Moose at 453 Waterloo Geneva Road, across from HEP Sales. There will be raffles, prizes and DJ music by Hans Helmer throughout the evening. Tickets are $10 per person and may be purchased at the Moose Lodge; Finger Lakes Gifts and Lounge, Seneca Street, Geneva; from committee members or at the door.The extensive list of raffle items and prizes includes more than 60 bottles of wine donated by more than 20 local wineries to support Tammy. A local painter, Kat Edwards, has donated a 16”x20” abstract painting inspired by Tammy. Other prizes include a homemade quilt, a $200 gift certificate for a family portrait, assorted gift certificates for pizzas, oil changes, tanning, dinners at local restaurants, pedicures and massages.
