Cold gets colder, with snow in FLX

A weak clipper system is passing to our south today, but some light snow is still making it into the region. Accumulations from this snow will be very light, with only a light coating for most of the Finger Lakes. Winds are out of the west, turning towards the southwest, so any lake effect snow will stay out of the Finger Lakes.Temperatures are cold again today, with highs in the upper teens and low 20s, but the winds are lighter than yesterday.Wednesday will be a different story as winds turn towards the north-northwest behind the clipper.First, some lake effect snow off of Lake Ontario could put down a couple of inches over parts of the eastern Finger Lakes.Secondly, winds will increase once again, with gusts over 30mph likely Wednesday evening.Lastly, temperatures will fall during the day from the teens in the morning into the single digits during the afternoon. Some places may even hit 0º by dinner time. Combined with the winds, it will feel more like -10º to -20º.Temperatures will remain fairly steady overnight and into Thursday morning, preventing the wind chill from dipping much more.
