Friday W-FL Hoops: Mynderse, Newark set-up showdown

Twelve Wayne-Finger Lakes boys basketball teams were in action on another frigid Friday night across the region. The biggest win of the night has to go to Mynderse who took down Pal-Mac in Seneca Falls to take sole possession of second place in the East, just 1 game behind Newark. The Reds had a big win of their own, going on the road and beating Penn Yan by 12. It was the third straight loss for the Mustangs. Mynderse will travel to Newark in the game of the year in the FL East on Tuesday in a game that will be broadcast live by FL1 Sports on FingerLakes1.TV. Over in Wayne County, Red Creek survived a stiff challenge from Sodus to stay tied atop the league standings with North Rose-Wolcott who cruised to a 30 point win over Marion.
