Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday in Waterloo

Grab your baskets and bundle up for the fastest 10 minutes of the Easter season! It’s time for the annual Waterloo Rotary Easter egg hunt. Admission is free. On Saturday, April 4, the Rotary Interact kids will be placing more than 3,000 eggs filled with candy or certificates for prizes in LaFayette Park in Waterloo. Children age 0 to 10 will burst into their designated hunting grounds promptly at 10 a.m. to eagerly fill their baskets. Prizes will be awarded in the following age group categories: 0-2, 3-4, 5-6, 7-8, and 9-10. Children can select their choice from the long table set up on the side of the park. The Easter Bunny has promised to make an appearance to pass out bunny hugs and pose for pictures. Parents, be sure to bring your cameras to record all the fun. Waterloo Rotarians conduct a number of projects throughout the year to better our community or to raise funds to benefit youth, literacy, and the needy in Waterloo and throughout the world. Waterloo Rotary meets every Monday at 6:30 at the Holiday Inn. New members are always welcome.
