The 2015 Seneca Falls Little League season got underway this weekend with a parade and a full slate of games for boys baseball and girls softball. Below are the reports received from coaches from the opening weekend…Division: Boys Minor League BaseballDate of Game: 4/25/15Time of Game: 3:30Score: 10 BonaDent Dental Lab Vs. 3 FL Christian FellowshipWinning Team Highlights:Brody Herron and Nick Virgo paced the way for the winners with 2 hits a piece. William Korzeniewski and Carson Kiah teamed up for 8 strike outs and limited FL Christian Fellowship to 3 hits.Other Team Highlights:Morgen Major singled and took the mound striking out 8 batter. Mikey Kaufman scored 2 runs and also had a hit for FL Christian Fellowship. The offense was led by Nick Twardeski who had a double, a triple, and an RBI and Ira Aman who hit 2 singles and had 2 RBIs. Adding to the hit count were Zach Kelley, Matt Kenyon, Lukas Day, James Mirras, Tyler Lerkins, and Tim Seymour. Day, Lerkins and Braeden Cupp added an RBI each.Other Team Highlights:Heath Brown Trice hit a single for Elks. During his time on the mound, he also earned 4 strikeouts.
