Seneca Falls man had stolen merchandise & counterfeit cash

On Thursday at approximately 5:26 pm the Town of Seneca Falls Police Department arrested Jay A. Clary, age 30 of 2133 State Route 5&20 in Seneca Falls. Clary was arrested on an arrest warrant for Possession of a Forged Instrument in the First Degree, and another arrest warrant for Tampering with Evidence and Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the 5th degree.Clary is accused of being in possession of property that had been stolen from Wal Mart on a previous date and also counterfeit money.Clary was arraigned in Town of Seneca Falls Court on the warrants and committed to the Seneca County Correctional Facility on $5,000 cash bail/$10,000 ins bond for each warrant. Clary is to reappear in the Town of Seneca Falls Court on 11/05/15 at 5 pm.Also arrested on Friday at 6:35 pm by Town of Seneca Falls Police was a 17 year old male for Grand Larceny 4th, a felony. The male is accused of stealing $1,850 in cash from Wal Mart over a course of a few days while he was employed there. The male was arraigned in Town of Seneca Falls Court and will reappear on 10/14/2015. The male’s name is being withheld due to possible youthful offender status.
