Seneca Falls man charged after argument

On October 4th at 6:01 pm The Town of Seneca Falls Police Department arrested Geoffrey J. Veit, 36 of 3215 Rambler Road in Seneca Falls, for Criminal Mischief in the Fourth Degree, a misdemeanor. Veit is accused of taking another individual’s cellular phone when they attempted to call the police for assistance during an argument which involved Veit. Veit is further charged with Harassment in the Second Degree as he is also accused of grabbing the arms of the same individual during the same argument. Veit was arraigned before Judge Lafler in the Seneca Falls Town Court and was committed to the Seneca County Correctional facility in lieu of $1,000 bail/$2,000 insured bond. Veit is to reappear in the Seneca Falls Town Court on October 14th at 10:00 am to answer for the charges.
