Waterloo to host annual Pumpkin Walk

It’s one of Waterloo’s most popular traditions: Waterloo Rotary’s annual Halloween event. Waterloo Rotary and Waterloo Interact invite everyone to a Pumpkin Walk this Saturday at Oak Island. Cost is $2 per person.Families are invited to bring their pumpkins to Oak Island between 2 and 4 pm Saturday, October 24, for the Pumpkin Walk. Be sure there is a candle tea light, flashlight or some illumination device inside the pumpkin so it will shine along the trail.Then come back at Oak Island from 6 to 8 pm to walk the trail and see all the pumpkins. You may take your pumpkin home after the walk.Rotarians and Interact students will hang out along the trail to help you find your way. Halloween treats will be available.
