Woman arrested after running from Seneca Falls PD

On Saturday at approximately 6:44 pm Officers of the Seneca Falls Police Department arrested Kathryn H. Whalen, age 51 of 2 Sunset Drive in Kirkwood, NY for Obstruction of Governmental Administration, False Impersonation, Resisting Arrest, and Disorderly Conduct. Officers observed a female and a male having a domestic incident on Fall Street in the Town of Seneca Falls. The female, later identified as Kathryn Whalen, gave Officers a false name during the investigation and then fled the scene on foot in an attempt to elude police officers by running into a local business. Officers located Whalen, and she was placed into custody. While being placed into custody by Officers, Whalen began to struggle with officers, kicking and pushing them away. Whalen was arraigned in the Town of Seneca Falls Court and remanded to the Seneca County Correctional Facility on $250 cash / $500 bond. Whalen is to reappear in the Town of Seneca Falls Court on January 13th at 9:00 am.
