Arrest made in Emerson Park burglary

Detectives with the Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office Today arrested Jordan E. Hanmore, age 19 of 5940 South Street Road in Auburn, relative to a burglary that occurred at the Emerson Park Pavilion in the Town of Owasco. As previously released, the burglary occurred during the time frame of December 21st – December 27th with a large quantity of alcohol stolen as well as cash. Hanmore has been charged with one count each of Burglary in the third degree (felony) and Petit larceny. He was arraigned in Sennett Town Court and committed to the Cayuga County Jail in lieu of bail. Detectives recovered some of the alcohol that was stolen during the course of the investigation. It is believed that Hanmore was not alone and the investigation is ongoing. It is believed that others are, or have been, in possession of stolen alcohol, primarily Vodka, that was stolen in this burglary. Original 12/28/15 release:Members of the Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office are currently investigating a burglary that occurred at the Emerson Park Pavilion located at 6861 East Lake Road in the Town of Owasco.During the time frame of Monday December 21st through Sunday December 27th, entry was forced into the building as well as a locked storage room. A large quantity of alcohol, including bottles of Vodka, were stolen as well as cash.
