W-FL Friday: Wayne wins at Pal-Mac, Newark tops PY

The week started with 4 Finger Lakes East teams within just a game of first place. Penn Yan had scrapped their way back into the league title race but after losing to Mynderse on Tuesday, the Mustangs dropped a second straight game, this time at home to Newark. Pal-Mac was tied with Penn Yan after the Mustangs beat them last week and on Friday night, they recorded their third league loss as rival Wayne traveled to the Red Raiders’ gym and came out with a 4 point victory.After Friday night’s action, the Finger Lakes East has Mynderse and Newark tied for first, both 2 games clear of Pal-Mac.
