Rollover accident in Canandaigua sends three to hospital

The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office reports that on February 7th at approximately 1:18 pm emergency crews from Canandaigua responded to the intersection of Emerson Road and Allen Road for a roll over motor vehicle accident.Investigation into the accident revealed that Erik Dipasquale, 17, of East Rochester was the operator of the 1999 GMC Suburban, was northbound on Emerson Road and failed to negotiate the curve at the intersection with Allen Road. The vehicle traveled across the southbound lanes of Emerson Road, off the west shoulder where it overturned.Two passengers in the vehicle, Robert Stoops, 20, of Shortsville and Erica Zuhlsdorf, 18, of Manchester, along with the driver were all transported to Thompson Hospital by the Canandaigua Emergency Squad for treatment of minor injuries. Dipasquale was issued citations for failing to keep right and for failing to reduce his speed. The vehicle was demolished and had to be towed from the scene.
