Community Bank donates $5k to Literacy Volunteers of SC

On February 11th, Community Bank N.A. announced that they had recently presented the Literacy Volunteers of Seneca County with the first of two $5,000 installment donations to help support it’s mission to offer one-on-one tutoring at no cost to adults seeking help to improve reading, writing or English language skills.the second installment will occur in 2017, which will bring Community Bank’s total commitment to $10,000.Alexis Spina, branch manager of the Waterloo Community Bank N.A., as well as Christine Plate, branch manager of Seneca Falls Community Bank N.A. presented Arline Marino, executive director of Literacy Volunteers of Seneca County.Community Bank System Inc. operates more than 190 customer facilities across Upstate New York and Northeastern Pennsylvania through its banking subsidiary, Community Bank N.A.
