NWS: Advisories issued for entire FLX

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for practically the entire state of New York as a system bringing a wintry mix, rain, and snow sets to impact the Finger Lakes. The Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for Cayuga, Monroe, Onondaga, Ontario, Seneca, Schuyler, Tompkins, Wayne, and Yates counties.

By Wednesday morning most of the sleet or freezing rain that is falling will transition over to all rain. The National Weather Service also noted that they are watching the potential for flooding on Wednesday as over an inch of rain is expected to fall.
