Auburn PD seeks help in finding runaway teen

The Auburn Police Department is still requesting the public’s assistance in locating a missing juvenile from the City of Auburn. The missing teen ran away from 101 Hamilton Avenue, Cayuga Centers, in the City of Auburn, on 12/30/2015 and his whereabouts are unknown. The missing teen has no known ties to the area, and is possibly back in the Steuben County. Additional, although unconfirmed, leads, suggest the missing juvenile may have traveled to, or be somewhere in Pennsylvania, but once again no specific area has been determined. The missing juvenile has allegedly made contact with family members, but has not been seen in person. Based on the information thus far, we believe that Quinnton is most likely being provided shelter by a friend or family member. We would like to remind anyone assisting Quinnton, or hindering the investigation, that criminal charges can and will be filed, if it is determined that such persons failed to notify law enforcement of his whereabouts, or continue to aid in his “missing person/runaway” status. The Auburn Police Department is working in conjunction with the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office, Steuben County DSS, and the NYS Missing Persons Clearinghouse. Please contact the Auburn Police (315) 253-3231, the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office (607) 622-3911, or the NYS Missing Persons Clearinghouse (800) 346-3543.
