Auburn music festival to honor Art Wenzel

This weekend Art Wenzel, a musician from Auburn, will be honored at Art’s Inhale Music Fest on Saturday. Wenzel was diagnosed with cancer a year ago, and will be the beneficiary of this downtown music extravaganza. Altogether there will be three stages, which will be aligned along State Street. Wenzel spent a number of years organizing events and musical festivals like this one, but this particular event will be to honor the man who has done so much for music in the Finger Lakes. Bands from all around the country, who have been positively impacted by Wenzel are making a stop in the region this weekend — playing at the festival on Saturday.The full-list of acts at the A.I.M. Joe Whiting of the Doyle-Whiting Band said, “He’s a supporter as much of Auburn as he is of area music,” going on to point out that, “there’s not another guy like him.”Art’s Inhale Music Fest will run from 1 pm to 11 pm Saturday in downtown Auburn, and will offer fun for the entire family beyond the music.
