South Seneca Lady Falcons to play for Class C State Title today

After jumping out to a 20-9 lead after the first quarter on Saturday at Hudson Valley Community College, the South Seneca Lady Falcons looked ready to cruise through their NYSPHSAA Class C semifinal game against Northern Adirondack. The Bobcats, however, had other plans.Northern Adirondack outscored the Lady Falcons 27-18 over the next two quarters before South Seneca’s offense woke up in the final period. Emily Lavarnway hit two key shots in the paint and Kelsey and Skylar Shaulis sank multiple free throws in the game’s final minute to lift head coach Heather Mott’s team into the state championship game on Sunday with a 57-49 win.Listen to Dave Barnick’s call of the final seconds on FL1 Sports…
