Falls man has outburst in court, causes damage

On Friday, March 11th at 6:24 pm the Town of Seneca Falls Police Department reports that Anthony L. Davis, 34, of Seneca Falls, was arrested for aggravated harassment in the second degree. The misdemeanor arrest stems from an investigation after Davis called another town resident multiple times in a short period for no legitimate purpose. Davis was arraigned in the Town of Seneca Falls Court.However, while at court Davis became irate and caused a physical disturbance, and began fighting with officers. While being removed from the court, Davis kicked a door causing damage. After being placed in the back of a police car, Davis began kicking the windows of the patrol car. As a result Davis was also charged with the following charges: – Criminal contempt in the second degree, a class A misdemeanor.- Criminal mischief in the second degree, a class A misdemeanor. – Attempted criminal mischief in the second degree, a class B misdemeanor.- Obstructing governmental administration in the second degree, a class A misdemeanor. Davis was remanded to the Seneca County Correctional Facility with no bail. He is to reappear in Town of Seneca Falls Court on April 10th at 9:00 am. Seneca Falls Police Officers were assisted at the scene by the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office and the New York State Police.
