Early Wednesday morning the Penn Yan Police Department responded to a report of a subject who was seen in a Village resident’s vehicle.After responding to the area Officers observed the subject riding a bicycle away from the scene. The individual, Tucker A. Parmelee, age 18 of Penn Yan, was found to have possession of large amounts of loose change and other items. Further investigation revealed that Parmelee did take items from the vehicle and was subsequently charged with trespassing, petit larceny, and grand larceny in the 4th.Parmelee was arraigned in the Village of Penn Yan Court and committed to the Yates County Jail.
