Naples man uses fake name for prescription, sells it

A Naples man is facing multiple charges after giving a false name to a pharmacy in Naples to obtain medication, which he was not prescribed.Dakota Liddiard, 25, of Naples was charged with falsifying business records in the first degree, criminal diversion of a medication and petit larceny. Liddiard allegedly went to a pharmacy in Naples, and gave a false name to retrieve medication that was not prescribed to him, according to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office.Deputies say he then signed a receipt for the medication with a false name, and then sold the medication to another person for cash. Liddiard was transported to the Ontario County Jail for arraignment, and will answer the charges in Naples Town Court.
