Generations Bank reveals $1.2M Seneca Falls renovation

Generations Bank revealed plans for a renovation to its flagship retail office located at 19 Cayuga St. in Seneca Falls on Friday morning. The construction will be completed in two phases, with phase one beginning on Monday, April 25. All services provided at the Cayuga Street location will remain fully accessible throughout the renovation.“Our Cayuga Street office has been a part of this community for nearly 40 years, and – as our service offerings continue to advance – it only makes sense to reflect these changes in our flagship retail location,” said Generations Bank President and CEO, Menzo D. Case. “While our banking technology has evolved, we still feel strongly about the personal connection between our customers and employees. Customers can expect to see the same friendly faces at the office during and after the renovation.”The office, which was originally built in 1977, will be redesigned to incorporate many modern and sustainable elements, including floor-to-ceiling windows, carpet containing recycled content, LED lighting, 3FORM material elements and more. The office will contain interactive teller machines (ITM), state-of-the-art technology and improved handicapped parking for customers. The community can expect the Cayuga Street office’s face lift to have a similar look and feel to the Generations Bank Headquarters building, which is located at 20 East Bayard St. in Seneca Falls. The office renovation is expected to cost about $1.2 million and be completed by the fall with the Grand Opening slated for October 3, 2016.
